When you are in the Literacy Lab, you are free to read and write your appropriate comments for our entire class to see. Your comments must fit into the guidelines listed below: 
Appropriate Responses:
1. Ask a question (if you don't understand something written).
2. Make a connection to the post or the image. Tell a quick story related to the post or the image.
a. Tell how the ideas are connected to your "self".
b. Tell how the ideas are connected to our "world".
c. Tell how the ideas or images are connected to another "book" you have read.
Example: I like what you said about, "*quote the part you like". It reminds me of....)
3. Write a compliment to inspire the writer.
